In other industrial applications, where customer specifications require high purity and consistency of glass composition, Bekeson provides toll melting and chilled roller or water quenching of customers’ proprietary glasses.

Utilizing electric melters, Bekeson Glass produces high purity, high quality glass, custom-formulated to each customer’s needs. Glass can be processed into flake or other forms such as beads, water-quenched material, frit, or powder (see our Powders and Frits page). Bekeson’s high-purity glass flake is often supplied for applications such as Glass-to-Metal Hermetic sealing or Simulated Nuclear Waste (non-radioactive).
