The Department of Energy Office of Environmental Management is responsible for the largest environmental cleanup program in the world. Its mission is to complete the safe clean-up of the environmental legacy resulting from fifty years of nuclear weapons development at 107 sites around the U.S. Since 2006, Bekeson Glass has supplied glass frits for the vitrification of high-level nuclear waste. In that time, Bekeson has manufactured and delivered more than 4.1 million pounds of glass frit without a single quality issue.
Bekeson Glass produces a wide variety of custom formulated powders and frits to application-specific chemical composition, form, and size. Bekeson also provides toll melting and/or milling and sizing of customer-specific glass formulations.
